Classic & Timeless
Taylor & Jimmy had an early start at their engagement session, starting at 7 am at Bethesda Terrace to beat the crowds. Just in time to capture the first stream of the golden morning light while we had the famous Terrace all to ourselves to document the staircase, colorful ceiling, intricate stone walls, and more.
Before the session, Taylor and I met a couple of times to discuss her vision for the day. She knew exactly what she wanted! She wanted classic images with bright and clean neutrals like white, stone, and hints of gold and yellow. With two outfits, we started with the formal since the lighting was darker and more dramatic. Once the sun fully emerged for the day, Taylor transitioned to a trendy and casual long dress and sneakers to round out the day.
