Boston & Fall Foliage
Julia & Tyler had a romantic and colorful engagement session in the heart of Boston. They got a little bit of the city and the famous New England fall colors. This lovely couple is planning a wedding near Tyler's family. Julia really wanted photos in Boston since that's where they call home.
Sunsets & Hotels
This session had it all! We started at the famous Boston Common and then went to the romantic public gardens for sunset; once the sun was setting, Julia & Tyler changed into their formal outfit, and we went to the Newbury Boston Hotel. The hotel has a bar with a nice little library nook that was perfect for taking a few photos to end our night.
I love planning a couple of locations for engagements that are close to each other. I want couples to have different looks and scenes in their galleries for Save the Dates, printed portraits, wedding day decor, and photos to share on social media. I always recommend saving the formal attire for last! The later it gets, the more dramatic photos can be using my off-camera lighting! This look is a perfect addition to any couple's galleries.
All of my couples will have a consultation video meeting with me ahead of their engagement session to plan out the day, outfits, locations, and the look and feel you'd like to create. I love engagements and highly recommend that my wedding couples include this in their packages. It's a great opportunity to get to know me and get comfortable in front of the camera.
